The country is now easier than ever to access, with so much change happening since the end of the Vietnam War 40 years ago. This country has a lot to offer the traveller, with gorgeous stretches of landscape in between the cities and beaches, and one way to take it in is to take a train ride on the Reunification express from Hanoi in the north to Ho Chi Minh City in the south. The colonial architecture from the time of French rule can still be seen in the cities, and it can be nice to rent a condominium to explore the markets, and temples. Vietnam is also well known for it’s delicious and fresh food, including some of the best and cheapest seafood in the world.
