If Guest Cancels a Confirmed Booking

Before cancelling a booking, check the cancellation policies that apply.

A booking is only cancelled when you as the guest have cancelled your booking from your account on the RentalGuide24 website.

How to Cancel: Log In » [My panel] » Bookings » "Cancel".

  • RentalGuide24 has a “non-refundable amount” to cover the website costs, credit card charges or bank transfer charges. This amount will not be refunded to the guest.

  • Property hosts have five different cancellation policies to choose from + long term stay policy. RentalGuide24 will follow the cancellation policy set by the host for the property, and will return payments (if applicable) as detailed in the cancellation policy. 


If a guest is due a refund the website will transfer this as soon as possible. If it can’t be returned via credit card we will contact you for an alternative way to return the refund.  We try our best to make this as smooth as possible, in line with the cancellation policy as set by the host.


RentalGuide24 also has a Special Circumstances Policy.

The Special Circumstances Policy can supersede a host cancellation policy.
