How To Be A Successful Host
It’s free to list your property! You are only charged when a guest books.
1. Sign Up.
Member Sign up. Click here.
You will receive an email to verify your email address before you can continue. (Check the spam folder if you haven’t received an email after a few minutes)
2. Add your listing:
Log In » [My panel] » Listings » Manage listings » click on the green 
"Add listing".
Fill in your information. English is mandatory. If you can provide information in other languages such as German, Russian, Swedish or Chinese you can click on the arrow for other languages and fill in the information where it is appropriate.
Important: When listing a location, if a city or certain area is missing, we will update it within 72 hours after receiving your listing.
Select your Cancellation Policy, Security Deposit, and any Local Payments that you accept. (E.g. Security deposits or minibar, laundry etc.)
Be as accurate as you can with your listing. You can always go back and edit or update your listing or profile later.
They are six steps when adding a listing or editing a listing.
Overview (step 1/6) This is the first step and is same step as “Add your listing” above.
Media (step 2/6) Add photos and a video.
Payment (step 3/6)
(3.1/6) Rates for your property.
(3.2/6) Add-ons are charges for additional services that you offer, for example, cleaning or pickup from the airport. Add-Ons can be mandatory, optional or only information. (For Information set price “0” zero)
(3.3/6) Discounts for your listing can be set.
Availability (step 4/6)
Blank bookings. If your property is not available for certain periods then make a blank booking. This will prevent guests from being able to book during this period.
iCal export: Synchronize the calendar automatically with other house booking websites that support iCal.
iCal import: Import calendar from other booking websites which supports synchronized calendar for bookings.
Paid services (step 5/6)
Make your listing featured or highlighted for more exposure.
Settings (step 6/6)
You can make the overall settings, such as blocking addresses, calendar, rates or making your listing inactive for bookings.
Preview Check your property listing.
3. Keep Your Profile Updated
Log in to your account: Log In » [My panel] » My account » Profile change. "There are four pages".
Overview. Your personal details and bank account. Here you can become a verified host and get a badge on your listing. Click on “Make me a verified user” and an email will sent with instructions on how you can become verified on RentalGuide24.
Profile. Here you can add your name or company, and this will be visible on the website. Adding a picture or logo will help create a trusted profile. (We suggest a photo of the host)
Packages. Up to 50 free property listings. If you have more than 50 listings contact RentalGuide24.
SMS Packages. If you would like to receive mobile messages (SMS) when a booking is made then you can buy messages here. (Remember to add your mobile phone number in “Overview”)
What is the Cost for the Host?
- RentalGuide24 charges 7% of the total listing price set by host, including any Add-Ons if selected.
- You will only be charged if RentalGuide24 finds guests and you accept the booking. Listing your property is free of charge.
- Optional Extras: You can choose to have your property featured or your listing highlighted, or to receive SMS alerts when a booking is made. These extras are optional and come with a small charge.
