If the Guest is running late/doesn’t show up?
If the guest doesn’t show up, or the host has difficulty getting in touch with the guest before they arrive, then try to contact them via multiple methods e.g. email, phone, SMS. Keep in mind the guest could be travelling and could have limited or no access to the internet or no mobile signal. Sometimes transport can be delayed or the guest could be in transit, so allow for typical travelling delays.
- The booking is still valid even if the guest is late or does not show up.
- When a booking is confirmed, the host should contact the guest soon after to inform them of check-in procedures, the meeting point and time when the keys and instructions will be delivered.
